Message from the CEO MESSAGE FROM CEO
As a child, I once asked my mother, "Where do people go when they die?" She replied, "They become stars, watching over us from the sky." That idea filled my young heart with wonder.
Later, when my great-grandmother passed away, I saw the inside of a grave and was struck by how narrow and dark it was. I remember thinking, "I don't want to be in a place like this. I want to become a star!"—and I made that vow to myself.
After studying Buddhism through an integrated school system from elementary to high school, I entered the funeral industry in my 30s. Having worked in sea burials and tree burials, I naturally found myself wanting to make my childhood dream a reality: "If I die, I want to become a star" = SPACE SOH (Sō: Funeral & Thought).
In the spring of 2022, that vision became a historic first. We successfully launched the world's first original satellite for space memorial services, named "MAGOKORO". What began as a childhood dream half a century ago has now become a reality.

Provided total funeral production including musical memorials and remembrance events.
With over 30 years of industry experience, the company now handles more than 1,000 funeral requests annually.

Born in Tokyo in 1970 and raised in the green neighborhood of Kichijoji. Moved to Kyoto for university.
In 1994, joined Sumitomo Trust Bank, working across customer service, financial consulting, and real estate/loan operations. Later specialized in global business, starting with foreign exchange operations. He supported institutional investors with foreign securities investments and oversaw corporate M&A in Ireland, the UK, and the Cayman Islands. He also contributed to domestic bank merger projects.
Using his expertise in global asset management, he served as President of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank in Luxembourg and later in the United States, achieving record-breaking profitability during his U.S. tenure since the local subsidiary's founding in 1987.
Outside of banking, he served as a board member at Japanese schools abroad and led initiatives to support underprivileged children in Africa—spreading smiles around the world.
With over 30 years in banking and 15+ years of overseas living and work experience, he founded his own business in 2024, leveraging his extensive skills, know-how, and global network.
His hobbies include skiing, swimming, marathon running, surfing, music (instrument performance, karaoke, classical appreciation), cooking, all types of alcoholic beverages, photography, writing, and fashion.
In addition to serving as CEO of StageGate Japan and CEO of its U.S. subsidiary, he currently holds the No.2 executive position at SPACE NTK (a space venture company) as Global Operations Director, and also serves as Head of Global Strategic Planning at PichiPichi Co., Ltd.
In April 1987, joined Nippon Express Co., Ltd., where he worked primarily with art transport.
In April 1996, entered Makino Saiten Co., Ltd., beginning his career in the funeral industry.
In October 2005, became Executive Director of NTK Planning Co., Ltd., handling transport of the deceased.
In December 2025, concurrently appointed Director at SPACE NTK Co., Ltd.
Born and raised in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. Moved to Tokyo for work and has lived there for nearly 40 years.
Hobbies include video games, driving, and motorcycles. Enjoys spending time alone.
Known for being serious, straightforward, and kind-hearted. A proud father of three through his first marriage.
